Kalimna Jetty has Trevally taking pilchard. Give the footbridge and Myer Street jetties a go. Surf has been a bit rough with easterly wind but still worth a try for Salmon. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for Pinkies, Morwong and Gummies closer to the shore. For best results try squid and pilchard.

Lake Tyers
Best spot for Bream, Flathead and Tailor is Fisherman’s Landing, Devil’s Hole and the upper reaches of the Nowa Nowa Arm. Best baits being worm, prawn and lures.

“The cut” and Eagle Bay are the best spots for Bream. Bait of choice being prawn and worm. Ocean Grange for Gummies on squid and pilchard.

Holland’s Landing
Lake Wellington is best for Bream with prawn as bait of choice. Surf beaches for Salmon and Gummies on squid and pilchard.

Surf has been a bit rough but Salmon are about taking pilchard and popper. The island and the two rivers are still the best spots to try for Bream and the “odd” Perch. Preferred bait being worm. Offshore for Pinkies.

Prawn and lures are best bait for Bream which are to be found in the lake and river.

Best spot for Flathead is in Western Bay biting on pilchard. The river mouth and Furnell Landing for Bream on worm. Surf beach has been a bit rough but should settle down soon.
