Lakes Entrance
Town jetties and the footbridge for Trevally and Mullet biting on pilchard and blue bait. Kalimna jetty is worth a try. Offshore at the pipeline for 6kg Snapper. Six and seven mile reef for Pinkies. Gummies are closer to the shore taking pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Best spot for Bream is at Burnt Bridge strike on soft plastics and lures. From the islands and up to Devil’s Hole and towards Nowa Nowa for Flathead also striking on soft plastics and lures.

Mitchell River
Bream can be found from the river mouth to the cut. Picnic Point and the Wy Yung bridge is another good spot for Bream taking prawn and worm.

Tambo River
The area around the highway bridge is the best spot for nice size Bream. Worm and fresh water yabbies are giving best results.

Nicholson
The best spot is from the river mouth to the little cliffs for Bream biting on prawn and worm.

Metung
Chinaman’s Creek, the boardwalk, the Marina and town jetties are worth a look for Bream. Best results using prawn, worm and crab.

Paynesville
Best spot for Bream is at the river mouth and heading towards “the cut” at Eagle Point. Best result using prawn.

Holland’s Landing
Tom’s Creek and Blonde Bay are the best spots for Bream taking worm and prawn. Surf is still producing Salmon and Gummies on blue bait and squid.

Marlo
The Snowy and Brodribb Rivers and lakes for Estuary Perch. Luderick and Bream are around the groynes taking worm. Surf for big Salmon taking pilchard and poppers. Offshore for a mixed bag.

Bemm River
Surf for Salmon on metal lures, pilchard and poppers. Bream are in the river, lake and channel along with some Flathead using worm, local prawn and soft plastics. The system is producing good fish everywhere.

Tamboon Inlet
The river mouth is still producing Bream on worm and prawn. Old Man Point and Aeroplane Rocks for Trevally and Snapper on blue bait and pilchard. Surf for Salmon.

Mallacoota
Surf for Salmon. Bottom Lake for Bream taking yabbies. Luderick are at Fisheries jetty and slipway taking weed. The Top Lake has Flathead taking lures and prawn. Bream are also in the Wallagaraugh River taking lures and prawn.

Omeo High Country
Trout are about in the Mitta Mitta with best bait being earth worms, lures and soft plastics.
