Lakes Entrance
Plenty of Whiting are around Fraser Island and up to Nungurner with pippies as the preferred bait. Try the town jetties for Mullet and the shallow banks for Flathead. Offshore for Pinkies at the Six Mile Reef and the pipeline. Gummies and Flathead closer to shore.

Lake Tyers
Flathead are at the Glass House taking pilchard and lures. The Green House, Mill Point and Blackfellows Arm for Bream using worm.

Mitchell River
Bream are active at the Grassy Banks, The Cut and the river mouth. Best results using hard bodied lures, plastic grubs, small shell and crab.

Tambo River
The Snags, river mouth and Punthouse Point are worth a try for Bream with shrimp, prawn and worm.

Nicholson
Between the two bridges and down towards Pear Tree and The Swimming Hole for Bream on local prawn and worm.

Metung
Bream have been around Shaving Point and into Lake King taking hard bodied lures, soft plastic grubs and crab.

Paynesville
Progress Jetty is the hot spot for Flathead on prawn. Also try the river mouth on the Mitchell River for Bream.

Holland’s Landing
On the eastern side of Lake Victoria towards dusk is producing good size Flathead with soft plastics. The surf for Gummies and Flathead.

Marlo
Bream and Perch are around the islands and in the Brodribb River taking live prawn. Luderick are around the rock groynes on worm. At the entrance and from the beach for Salmon and Tailor.

Bemm River
Bream are in the channel taking prawn, soft plastics and vibes. Trolling for Tailor with lures. The entrance is still closed.

Tamboon Inlet
Pelican Point for Flathead taking pilchard and soft plastics. The river mouth for Bream on prawn. Peter Rock for Pinkies and Trevally on pilchard.

Mallacoota
The Narrows is producing Flathead on lures. The top end of the system for Flathead. The Top and Bottom Lakes for Bream and Flathead. Luderick are taking weed at the Main Wharf. Best baits for Bream are yabbies and prawn.

Omeo High Country
The Cobungra, Mitta Mitta, Bundara and Anglers Rest are the best for Trout on lures, worm and spinners. Some Perch are about also.
