Lakes Entrance
Trevally are around the Footbridge taking blue bait. Bullock Island for juvenile mackerel on prawn. Whiting are still about the Barrier Landing and the islands on pipis and worm. offshore at the Pipeline for 9kg snapper, gummies and flathead are closer to the shore.

Lake Tyers
The Toorloo Arm and Nowa Nowa Arm are producing bream with worm and prawn as preferred bait. Also try late evening for bream. Some flathead and pinkies around The Glasshouse area taking blue bait

Mitchell River
Bream are at the river mouth taking vibes and plastic grubs. Plenty of garfish are about The Butter Factory, Eagle Point and the Wattle Point Jetty, using floating sand worm as bait.

Tambo River
From The Three Gums and down to the river mouth for bream using local prawn.

Nicholson
The Little Cliffs, Swimming Hole and to the river mouth for bream on local prawn.

Metung
Bream are about Chinaman’s Creek and Box’s Creek on spider crab and prawn. Some flathead along the shallows on fresh local prawn. Some kingfish are also about.

Paynesville
Bream are cruising around the town jetties with fresh prawn as preferred bait. Whiting are also taking pipis.

Holland’s Landing
The Strait, Woodpile and to Medusa Point for bream and flathead. Best results with prawn and white bait. Tom’s Creek is also worth a try for bream.

Marlo
The odd bream are about on lures. Tailor are at the entrance. The sand flats for flathead on lures. The surf for salmon and tailor on pilchard and poppers.

Bemm River
The surf for salmon on pilchard and poppers. The entrance is still closed. Trolling in the channel for tailor on lures. Bream are in the lake taking local prawn and soft plastics.

Tamboon Inlet
Bream are taking worm and prawn at the river mouth. The big sand hill near Tamboon South camp site is producing King George Whiting on worm. Flathead are at Pelican Point taking soft plastics and pilchard.

Mallacoota
The Bottom Lake for flathead taking pilchard and lures. Captains Point for bream on prawn. Harrisons Channel for luderick on weed. The surf for salmon on poppers and pilchard.

Omeo High Country
The best river for trout is the Mitta Mitta on grasshoppers and fly patterns.
