Lakes Entrance
Early morning at the Myer Street jetty for trevally. The odd kingfish are about, best bait prawn and soft plastics. Some salmon on the surf. Off shore at 6-7 Mile Reef for pinkies and a mixed bag. A 117gk swordfish was landed by “Home Strait”

Lake Tyers
For bream and pinkies Mill Point is the place to be with best results using prawn. Head towards Devils Hole area for bream with prawn as preferred bait. Flathead are around but are not easy to find.

Mitchell River
The Grassy Banks, the Cut and towards the river mouth for bream. Best results soft plastic grubs, worm, prawn and vibes.

Tambo River
Bream are around the powerlines to Bennetts Brook and towards Sardine Flats. Best results using local prawn. Give the structures a look with hard bodied lures.

Bream are around the front of the caravan park area. The odd flathead is above the trestle bridge and towards the car bodies with soft plastic and prawn as preferred bait,

Bream are to be found at Chinaman’s Creek and at Box’s Creek with best results using peeled prawn.

The wharves and boats are good hiding spots for bream with non- weighted baits being mussels and peeled prawn. Try crab style lures in close to structures. Some prawns are still around.

Holland’s Landing
Seacombe Landing has bream, try the town jetties as well. Best results using peeled prawn and shrimp.

The entrance is now open and as a result fishing should improve. The surf is working well with good salmon. Off shore if you are able to get out, good flathead and shark are to be had.

Bemm River
The entrance is still open with bream in the lake taking worm, local prawn and soft plastics. Tailor are to be found in the channel with trolling lures for best results. Try the river for bream fishing off platforms for best results.

Tamboon Inlet
The river mouth for bream taking prawn and worm. Try Furnell landing and the jetty as well. Pelican Point and Egan’s Bank for pinkies taking lures. The surf is producing 2kg salmon taking pilchards.

Bream are around the bottom lake taking prawn, try the top lake and upper reaches of the two rivers for bream. The surf for tailor up to 5lbs on lures. Off shore for good flathead and gummies.

Omeo High Country
Mitta Mitta River is best for trout taking all baits presented to them.
