Lakes Entrance
Local jetties still have Mullet taking worm. Late in the day for Trevally on white and blue bait. The surf beaches are working well with Salmon taking blue bait and silver lures. Offshore at Six mile Reef for Snapper up to 5.5kg, also Morwong and Nannygai taking pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Incoming tide is producing Trevally, Bream and Tailor, best baits are plastics and lures. Around the islands and up to Trident Arm and Long Point for Bream on prawn and worm. Some Flathead are also about.

Mitchell River
From the Butter Factory down to Shadoff Lodge and heading to The Cut for Bream taking prawn and worm. Perch in the Backwater and the Highway Bridge area. Best bait is lures and plastics. Some Mullet can also be caught.

Tambo River
The river mouth area in the late afternoon for Bream, best bait being fresh shrimp. The Cliffs are also worth a try for Bream.

Nicholson
The Reeds, The Tyers and Car Bodies for Bream on prawn and worm.

Metung
The Boardwalk is producing Bream with prawn and worm. Shaving Point and down to the Lake King jetties are also worth a try for Bream and Mullet.

Paynesville
Bream are around the boat harbour jetties, best bait is prawn. Tailor are in the Lake with trolling lures for best results. The back of Raymond Island for bait prawns.

Holland’s Landing
The Woodpile, Holland’s Landing, Medusa Point and Bull Point for Bream, taking prawn.

Marlo
Perch are about in the Snowy and Brodribb Rivers. Best baits are sandworm and prawn. Luderick and Mullet are taking worm. Bream are taking black crab, prawn and worm. Surf for Salmon and Tailor on poppers and pilchard. Offshore for Flathead and Gummy Shark on pilchard and squid.

Bemm River
The river and the lake are producing Bream and Trevally with worm and prawn. The surf Beach at Pearl Point for Salmon on pilchard and poppers. The entrance is still open.

Tamboon Inlet
Fisherman’s Landing, Peach Tree Creek and around the islands for Bream and Tailor, best results are with prawn, worm and lures. The surf for Salmon.

Mallacoota
Offshore for Gummy Shark and King Fish. Best Bait to use are skippy and salmon fillets, also lures. Luderick on the incoming tide taking local weed. Bream and Flathead are up in the Top Lake, bait of choice being prawn and bass yabbies.

Omeo High Country
Cobungra, Mitta Mitta, Bundara Rivers and Anglers Rest for Brown Trout on worm, celtas and wobblers. Also try floating worm.
