Lakes Entrance
King George and School Whiting have been caught between Flannigan Island and Nungurner, using sandworm. Flathead and Salmon have been around the Barrier Landing taking plastic and metal lures plus pilchard. “Gars” are still in North Arm.

Lake Tyers
Plenty of Tailor are striking silver lures and local prawn. Schools of Bream are active in the main lake and Camerons Arm. Try peeled prawn. Big Flathead are around the channel markers and in the shallows at the Glasshouse.

Mitchell River
Estuary Perch and Bream have been landed under the Highway Bridge in the evening, on diving lures and prawn. Bream are also cruising between Two Bells and Grassy Banks.

Tambo River
The boat ramp at Johnsonville is good for Flathead on spider crab and soft plastics. Bream are still around the mouth of the river on fresh prawn.

Nicholson
Bream have been taken opposite the caravan park, using local prawn and sandworm.

Metung
Flathead and Bream have been caught off the Boardwalk, using peeled prawn and soft plastics. A few King George Whiting are being hooked around Shaving Point.

Paynesville
Large Tailor are in Eagle Bay, with silver lures and pilchard catching fish. The jetties have Luderick liking sandworm. A few Bream are in the Strait, feeding on local prawn.

Holland’s Landing
Jones bay has good size Bream taking spider crab and prawn.

Marlo
Luderick have been landed around the islands. Both Rivers have Estuary Perch eating live prawn and metal lures. Tailor and Flathead are around the fishing platforms on the Snowy, and in the shallows at the mouth. The Surf has Salmon and Tailor.

Bemm River
The channel has Tailor “on the go” using hard bodied and metal lures. Bream are in the lake, with local prawn being best bait. The surf has Salmon to 2kg.

Tamboon Inlet
The camp site jetty is good for Bream and Mullet, on sandworm.

Mallacoota
Both Lakes and Double Creek Arm have plenty of Bream biting on yabbies and local prawn. A few Luderick are around the main wharf. The Narrows has “Pinkies” and Flathead.

Omeo High Country
Rain has improved fishing in the Mitta Mitta River, with Trout chasing celta lures and worms.
