Lakes Entrance
All town jetties are still good spots for Bream, Trevally and Mullet. Best baits are worm and prawn. Lake Bunga and Eastern Beach are producing Salmon on pilchard and poppers. Six mile reef have plenty of Pinkies, taking pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Around the islands and heading towards Cameron’s Arm and up to Nowa Nowa are best bests for Bream and Flathead. Bait of choice being prawn. Try surf for Salmon.

Mitchell River
The butter factory and highway bridge are still best spots for Luderick, Bream and Flathead, biting on prawn and green plastics.

Tambo River
Rough Road area and Swan Reach bridge are producing Bream on worm, shrimp, prawn and yabbies.

Bream are out and about the river mouth, best bait being prawn. Twin Rivers Classis is coming up on 17th July. Relevant paper work attached.

Early morning and evening are best for Bream taking prawn at the river mouth and Tambo Bay. Town jetties and boardwalk are worth a try.

Mullet are out and about the straits and town jetties. Best bait being worm. Offshore around Ocean Grange for Snapper and along the beach for Gummies on squid and pilchards.

Holland’s Landing
Clayton Fishing Club had a good weekend. Good catches of Bream around the Sticks, the mouth and the straits as well as Tom’s Creek. Best results using shrimp and worm.

The water levels are slowly dropping. The Narrows, on the turn of the tide for Salmon and Tailor. Best results on lures. Surf beach is also good for Salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Bemm River
The entrance is open. Bream are about in the main channel taking worm and prawn. The surf for Salmon, best bait being pilchard and poppers.

Tamboon Inlet
Fishermen’s Landing, Tamboom Inlet and down to Old Man Point for Bream taking worm, prawn and shrimp.

The Bottom Lake on incoming tide is producing flathead, Bream, Trevally and Luderick. Best results using peeled prawn. Waters are starting to clear up. Try the surf for Salmon, on pilchard.

Omeo High Country
Waters are staring to clear up, so all the rivers are going to be worth a look. Try metal lures, floating worm and drifting bait with no floats.
