Lakes Entrance
Salmon are biting at Bunga Beach and Eastern Beach, best results from using metal lures and pilchard. The Post Office Jetty and Ferrymans Jetty have Trevally and Mullet on worm and pilchard. Six Mile Reef for Pinkies 30-35cm, Rubber Lipped Morwong, Nanagi and Leather Jacket, using pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Early morning on the beach for Salmon and Yellow Eyed Mullet on metal lures and pilchard. Crystal Bay and Long Point have Bream taking prawn. The hole at Cameron’s Arm for Bream and Tailor on prawn. On the incoming tide at the channel markers, No.2 Boat Ramp and The Glasshouse for Trevally on prawn.

Mitchell River
The best spots for Bream are at the river mouth, The Cut and Two Bells. Best baits are local prawn, spider crab and metal lures.

Tambo River
The Twin Rivers Bream Classic again produced good Bream from the river mouth and all the way up to the boat ramp. Bag Limits were reached. Currently mussel, prawn and yabbies are catching Bream.

Best spot for Bream are The Little Cliffs, the river mouth and up to the boat ramp, using worm.

Lake King Jetty, Shaving Point, the Boardwalk and town jetties for Bream, also try Chinaman’s Creek for Mullet and Bream taking sandworm and prawn.

The big blue bridge and in the canal for Bream and Mullet taking worm and prawn.

Holland’s Landing
Plenty of fresh water coming into the system. Try Plover Point. The Wood Pile, Medusa Point, Bull Bay, Jones Bay and Tom’s Creek for Bream and Mullet.

The Backwater, The Slips and French’s Narrows for Bream, taking shelled prawn. The surf beach for Salmon and Tailor, using metal lures, squid and bluebait. Offshore for Gummy Shark, Pinkies and Flathead on pilchard and squid.

Bemm River
The entrance is still open and fishing has been good for Bream in the main lake. Tailor in the channel. Best results using soft plastics, sandworm and local prawn.

Tamboon Inlet
Try Purnell Landing, Gibbs Creek, Eagons Bank and The Camp Site for Bream, Mullet and Perch on prawn and worm.

The beach for Salmon and Yellow Eyed Mullet taking pilchard. Luderick are at the Main Wharf. Fisheries Wharf and The Cows Paddock for Trevally, Tailor and Bream on pilchard. The Bottom Lake for Bream on yabbies. Harrison Channel and Double Creek Arm for Luderick and Bream.
