Lakes Entrance
Plenty of trevally and mullet on all the town jetties, best bait being worm and pilchard. Eastern Beach and Bunga Beach have salmon on silver lures and pilchard. Off shore at six mile reef for pinkies and morwong.

Lake Tyers
At the turn off the tide for bream and tailor around no. 2 boat ramp and channel markers, try prawn and pilchards. The surf beach has salmon and mullet. Try Toorloo Arm, Crystal Bay, Long Point and Blackfellows Arm.

Mitchell River
The Eastwood Bridge and backwater has bream and perch. Try the bluff, the river mouth and two bells for bream. Best results using spider crab, prawn and worm.

Tambo River
Bream are about at Rough Road and Punthouse Point. Try Reynolds Rd and down to the river mouth. Best baits are prawn and worm.

Pear Tree, 2nd fence and down to the river mouth for bream using worm. Thumb Point is also worth a try.

From a boat try Bancroft Bay trolling with lures. The rock wall, Chinaman’s Creek are also worth a try. Best bait being shrimp and peeled prawn.

Newland’s Arm and Duck Arm for bream, mullet and tailor. Best bait worm and peeled prawn. Try the town jetties as well for mullet on worm.

Holland’s Landing
Lake Wellington is best for bream. Try Holland’s Landing for bream on local shrimp and worm. Tom’ Creek is also worth a try.

The Brodribb and Snowy Rivers are producing good bream using worm. The surf beaches have salmon and tailor on pilchards and poppers.

Bemm River
Bream are cruising the lake, best results on worm and soft plastics. The surf for salmon and tailor on pilchards and poppers. The entrance is still open.

Tamboon Inlet
Pelican Point, camp site and shallow lagoon for bream on worm and prawn. Try the surf for salmon and tailor on pilchard and poppers.

Big Beach for salmon on pilchards and prawn. Harrison’s Channel has trevally on blue bait. The bottom lake has yellow fin bream on prawn and yabby. Luderick at the jetties on weed. Try the top lake for bream and flathead.
