Lakes Entrance
Ferryman’s jetty have Trevally and Mullet about taking worm and prawn. Bunga Beach for good size Salmon and “Gummies”. Preferred bait being pilchards and squid. Offshore for Pinkies taking pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Some Flathead are about Mill Point and down towards Burnt Bridge biting on peeled prawn. Heading up towards Devil’s Hole and Nowa Nowa for Bream taking prawn and lures.

Mitchell River
From Shadoof Lodge heading up to the highway bridge, backwaters and Wy Yung are best spots for Perch and Bream. Best bait being hard bodied lures, soft plastics, vibes, spider crab and shrimp.

Tambo River
Good size Bream at Rough Road and heading down towards the Three Gums. Mullet are also about taking shrimp and worm.

Nicholson
Between the two bridges for Bream, best bait being prawn. Also give Pear Tree a go.

Metung
Lake King jetty, Shaving Point and town jetties for Bream and Mullet on vibes, prawn and worm. The boardwalk is worth a try.

Paynesville
All town jetties are producing Bream and Tailor. Best results using metal vibe lures. If you’re game, try the surf for Salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Holland’s Landing
Tom’s Creek, Woodale and Seacombe’s Landing are best spots for good sized Bream, taking shrimp and worm on two hook ring. Shrimp on top and worm on the bottom hook.

Marlo
Surf for Salmon and Tailor on pilchard. Plenty of Bream, Mullet and Perch to be caught using worm. Offshore Pinkies, Flathead and “Gummies” biting on pilchard.

Bemm River
Entrance still open. Afternoon best for Bream west of Pelican Point. Luderick and Salmon are in the channel near the mouth. Best baits being weed and prawn. Surf for Salmon on pilchard and popper. Give lures a go as well.

Tamboon Inlet
Peach Tree Creek and Fisherman’s Landing for Bream. Gibbs Creek is also worth a look as well as Mud Point and down to Pelican Point. Surf for Salmon on pilchard and poppers.

Mallacoota
Surf for Salmon taking pilchard and popper. Bottom Lake and Harrison Channel for Bream. Top Lake, Genoa River and Cape Horn also have Bream taking Yabbies and prawn.

Omeo High Country
Closed season.
