Lakes Entrance
The Floating Dragon wharf and Ferryman’s’ jetty for Whiting, bait of choice being peeled prawn and shrimp. Try surf for Salmon, if you are willing to contend with the wind. Offshore, for Pinkies, Nanagi and Morwong on pilchards and squid.

Lake Tyers
Flathead are cruising up the Nowa Nowa Arm and up-stream towards Nowa Nowa at around 60-80cm. Best bait being soft plastics. Around the islands and heading up the lake system they are taking peeled prawn.

Mitchell River
Water still muddy but river flat at the river mouth is the best spot for Bream. Bait of choice being prawn, spider crab and sand worm.

Tambo River
From Whelan’s, the power lines and up to the cliffs are the best spots for Bream which are taking live shrimp.

Good size Bream are out and about from the 2nd fence to the straight six. Bait of choice being live shrimp and prawn.

The wharf at Metung and up to Shaving Point for Bream, Mullet and Trevally on vibes, worm and peeled prawn. Also try the boardwalk heading towards Chinaman’s Creek.

Bream are about the Yacht Club, biting on shrimp. Perch are at the mouth of the Mitchell River taking live baits.

Holland’s Landing
River and lake waters are up, so try back water areas for best results around Tom’s Creek, Blond Bay and Spoon Bay on peeled prawn, worm and mussel.

Luderick are around rock groynes. Plenty of Bream, Estuary Perch and Mullet. Best bait being worm. Surf for Salmon and Tailor on pilchards and poppers. Offshore for Flathead and “Gummies” on pilchard and squid.

Bemm River
Bream are in the lake and river taking peeled prawn and sand worm. Tailor and Trevally are in the channel chasing soft plastics.

Tamboon Inlet
Tailor are cruising the lake taking lures. Furnell Landing for good Bream, biting on prawn and shrimp. Bag limits have been reached.

Offshore for “Gummies” and Flathead on squid and pilchards. Harrison’s Channel for Yellow Fin Bream and Trevally on yabbies. Salmon on the surf taking pilchard and poppers. Luderick at main wharf taking weed. Top Lake for Bream. Flathead are in the rivers taking lures and live poddies.

Omeo High Country
The Dr. Mitchell shield was won by the Omeo Club. Well done! Water is still high but the Livingstone River was producing good trout. There is also plenty of Carp about up to 3kg.
