Lakes Entrance
Town jetties are producing whiting with worm as preferred bait. Floating jetty for trevally on pilchards. Boaties at the Barrier and Nungurner for 40cm whiting on pippies and worm. Offshore for Snapper and gummies on squid and pilchards

Lake Tyers
Throughout the whole lake system flatties are taking all baits. Bream in Black fellows Arm preference is prawn. Also some perch about.

Mitchell River
Bream at Picnic Point and Eagle Point on Prawn. Perch in the Backwater and at the highway bridge, best baits hard bodies and plastics. Trout are at the Barrier on worm and lures.

Tambo River
Howletts Flats, Rough Rd and Sardine Flats for Bream with prawn as preferred bait.

Nicholson
The Reeds and up to the cliffs for Bream, best results using live shrimp, worm and prawn.

Metung
Boardwalk, Chinaman’s Creek for bream, mullet and perch on spider crab and live prawn, boats for whiting Nungurner and Reeves Channel, also worth a try around the Islands

Paynesville
Plenty of mullet in Eagle Point Bay taking worm. Tailor cruising the lake smashing lures. Trout are in the lake on lures and worm.

Holland’s Landing
The woodpile for bream, worm and cut pilchard as preferred bait. Bull Bay and Tom’s Creek are also worth a look and up to Storm Point.

Marlo
Beach for gummies taking eel and squid. Luderick, perch, bream, yellow eyed mullet are throughout the system with best bait being worm and prawn. Salmon on the surf on pilchards and poppers. Offshore for flatties, pinkies and gummies on squid and pilchard.

Bemm River
Lake is closed to the ocean. Bream are in the Lake and river taking peeled prawn and worm. Yellow fin whiting and luderick in the channel on worm, tailor on lures

Tamboon Inlet
River and lake for bream and flatties with bag limits being reached. Pinkies at footy ground on prawn and white bait. Salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Mallacoota
Salmon on the beach taking pilchard and poppers. Luderick off main wharf and fisheries wharf on weed. Bream in bottom lake, flatties chasing lures. Trevally and tailor taking worm and prawn. Also try lures.

Omeo High Country
Anglers Rest, Livingstone and Mitta Mitta for trout best results on flies, worm, wobblers and celta spinners.
