Lakes Entrance
Bunga Beach is still producing good salmon using blue bait and lures. Try the town jetties for trevally and the odd tailor taking whitebait and pilchards. The sand blast jetty on the incoming tide for tailor using lures. Off shore at six mile for pinkies on pilchards.

Lake Tyers
Bream are playing hide and seek. Try Devils Hole and Long Point using worm and shrimp. The surf is worth a try for salmon.

Mitchell River
From Eagle Point to the highway bridge for bream, best baits being prawn, sandworm, soft plastics and crab.

Tambo River
From Bennet’s Brook, Rough Road and to Clues Bluff are good spots for bream taking worm.

From the Reeds to the Poplars are good spots for bream with worm and prawn as preferred baits.

Chinaman’s Creek, the Boardwalk and the Marina are best for bream, mullet and perch. Try Box’ Creek at night using spider crab, prawn and worm.

The Yacht Club Jetty is producing bream, mullet and tailor with best results using worm, shrimp, spider crab and silver lures.

Holland’s Landing
Best spots to try are The Woodpile, Tom’s Creek and Blonde Bay into Lake Victoria around Sperm Whale Point. Best results using worm, pippies and whitebait.

Rock groynes and structures for luderick. The junction, Bream Point and down to Mot’s Beach are good spots for bream, mullet and tailor near the entrance and the Narrows. Try the surf for salmon and off shore gummies using usual baits.

Bemm River
The entrance is open. Salmon are in the surf taking pilchards and poppers. Bream are in the lake taking local prawn and worm.

Tamboon Inlet
The river mouth for good bream on worm. The football ground is still producing good size fish. Pinkies and trevally are taking whitebait.

Surf for salmon taking pilchards and poppers. The Wallagaraugh River at Genoa for bream using yabbies. Bream are in both lakes. Harrison’s Channel for luderick and bream. Spinning in the narrows will get you flathead.

Omeo High Country
Trout are cruising at Angles Rest, the Mitta Mitta and the Livingstone with best results using wobblers, spinners and soft plastics.
