Lakes Entrance
Trevally are biting on pilchard around the footbridge and other town jetties. Surf beach for Salmon ¬¬¬using lures, pilchard and squid. Offshore has “Pinkies”, Rubber Lip Morwong and Leather Jackets. Boaties watch out for whales as they are about.

Lake Tyers
Flathead are being caught in the Nowa Nowa Arm and bottom lake. Bream are around the Mill Point area chasing prawn. Luderick are taking weed just before dusk from the Tavern to No. 2 boat ramp. Trevally are taking vibes around the Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust area.

Mitchell River
Bream are at Eagle Point and right up to the highway bridge taking prawn and spider crab. Wy Yung bridge and the backwater are producing Perch, best results using green plastics and diving lures. Trout are around Picnic Point to the Barrier biting on worm.

Tambo River
Bream are about Marshall’s Flat, three gums and heading towards the river mouth. Best bait being prawn.

Nicholson
Nicholson Fishing Club had a comp. and Bream were taken from the highway bridge all the way to the river mouth. Best results using prawn.

Metung
The town jetties, boardwalk and Chinaman’s Creek jetty are all producing Mullet on worm.

Paynesville
Plenty of birds and dolphins chasing Mullet in the lake. The channels around Paynesville are producing 40cm Bream taking prawn and bread.

Holland’s Landing
The wood pile, Bull Bay and up to Blonde Bay are the best spots for Bream, Mullet and Luderick. Best baits being worm, soft shell and peeled prawn. Try the rock groynes in Lake Victoria for a mixed bag.

Marlo
Marlo is still producing a variety of fish. Rock groynes and structures have Luderick. Bream and Mullet are cruising about taking worm and prawn. Surf for Salmon and Tailor using pilchard and poppers. Offshore for “Gummies” and Flathead.

Bemm River
The river and lake are still good for Bream biting on worm and prawn. Surf for Salmon and Tailor on pilchard and poppers.

Tamboon Inlet
The camp site and mud point for Flathead on lures. Main lake for Trevally taking blue bait. River mouth and up to Furnell Landing for Bream on worm and shrimp.

Mallacoota
Beach for Salmon and Tailor taking pilchard and poppers. Luderick at Fisheries jetty on weed. Flathead at Cape Horn taking lures and bait. Top Lake and the Genoa and Wallagaraugh Rivers for Bream, Perch and the “odd” Flathead chasing lures.

Omeo High Country
Rains have improved fishing so all the rivers are worth a look. Best results using floating worm.
