Lakes Entrance
Trevally is prevalent around all town jetties taking all baits. The Barrier and Nungurner has Silver and King George Whiting biting on pippi and worm. The surf and offshore are a bit quiet now.

Lake Tyers
Still producing good sized Bream, taking lures in shallow waters in the lower part of the lake. Flathead are to be found heading up towards the top end of the system taking lures and soft plastics. Surf is a bit rough but worth a try.

Mitchell River
There are a few Bream to be had in the back waters, best bait being prawn and worm.
The mouth of the Mitchell is also producing Bream. Water is still murky.

Tambo River
With rain water coming down the river, the best spot to try for Bream is at the river mouth and at the “snags”. Best bait being prawn and worm.

Best spots for Bream would be down towards the river mouth using worm and prawn.

Seals are still about. Try Boxes Creek, Bell Point and Chinaman’s Creek area and the shallows at night on spider crab and prawn.

The Bream are still around the Straits taking shrimp and Eagle Point Bay is still producing Tailor on lures.

Holland’s Landing
With the rain water entering the lake system places like the Straits, Medusa Point, Jones Bay and at the mouth of Tom’s Creek, Blond Bay and around Storm Point are best spots for Bream, Flathead and Mullet taking worm, peeled prawn and soft shell.

Lockend has Bream taking frozen prawn. The Brodribb and Lake Corringal are producing Mullet and Bream taking worm as bait of choice. Surf and offshore are quiet now.

Bemm River
Best spot for Bream is in the main lake and the channel using prawn, worm and hard body lures. Flathead are also cruising throughout the lake taking soft plastics.

Tamboon Inlet
The river mouth and Fisherman’s Landing are best for Bream, taking prawn. Old Man Point camp site for Flathead in shallows chasing lures and soft plastics.

Bream are taking bass yabbies in the Genoa and Wallagaraugh Rivers. Flathead are cruising around in the and Top and Bottom Lakes, best results using lures and pilchard. Surf has been a bit rough but on the improve.

Omeo High Country
With the rain, good trout are being caught in the all the local rivers. Best results using earth worms.
