There are calamari inside corner inlet, most medium size with a few bigger ones, mainly going on the slack tide. They're taking size 3 and 3.5 jigs, particularly Yamashitas.

Out from Port Welshpool in 35-40m some very big flathead are being caught on the drift. Plenty of specimens have been up around 50-60cm, all caught on the drift.

In closer in 21m of water, anglers anchoring with berley have been picking up gummy sharks to 12kg. The water is still cold at around 12-12.5 degrees.

Port Albert has been pretty quiet. There are a few squid on the chew, mainly calamari. A few flatties are also starting to show up, but catching them requires berley and patience.

90 Mile Beach has been fishing very well for gummies at night. The best baits are squid, bluebait and fresh salmon. Golden Beach through to Woodside has been fishing the best.
