With two weeks to go to the cod opening,its time to start checking all your gear in readiness for when you hook onto an monster cod,because there are plenty out there!!

THE MURRAY RIVER
-Hav'nt heard a lot from the murray this week apart from a few yellas locally and john and harrison sent me another photo of a 47cm yellas they caught at Koondrook on worms.

THE MURRUBIDGEE RIVER;
- Good numbers of yellas are still being caught on bait at Balranald.

THE WAKOOL RIVER:
- With water still running into the wakool from the neimur river,the yellas are still on the bite on small yabbies,shrimp and worms.

LAKE BOGA:
- There have been some good catches of yellas and silver perch from the bank on bait in the past week.

LAKE CHARM:
- A few redfin were caught on shrimp last weekend,but it is hard work.

LAKE MERRAN:
- The pick of the lakes seems to be Merrran at the moment with good numbers of yellas up to 49cm taking bait and small lures and redfin up to 48cm taking redfin jigs.

## Dont forget the fishing comp at Lake Boga this weekend run by the local angling club

### If you want to stock up on some bardi grubs for the cod opening,I have plenty in stock.

Until Next Week JC
