Excellent weather and river conditions saw plenty of campers out over the easter break and pretty well all of them were happy with what they caught.
The weather forecast for this weekend is going to much the same as last weekend, and all the rivers in our area are algal free!!!!

The Murray River:
- One camp at Belsar Island landed several cod ranging from 60 to 78cm on trolled 120mm lures and on bait, along with a heap of undersize cod. They also landed several good size yellas and worms, shrimp and small yabbies.
- Mick from the Boundary Bend store reported that there were plenty of cod and yellabelly caught on all your baits and also on lures last weekend.
- Campers at Kenley saw plenty of cod of various sizes caught on yabbies, grubs, worms and shrimp.James Cottis sent me a couple of photos of the 9 cod and a 40cm yella he had caught over the weekend.
- There were plenty of legal and smaller cod caught in the Swan Hill area, with one boat fishing near the P.I. caravan park landing two cod at 56cm on cheese on saturday.Aiden Drendel landed a 104cm on a Oargee Lure and a 90cm was landed near Caelli Lane on a lure and further out at Brooks Lane,a 83cm cod was also landed on a trolled lure. The yellas were a little on the quite side but there were a some around 33cm caught on shrimp and worms.

The Kyalite Area:
- Vickie from the pub reports that there were plenty of cod caught in both the Wakool and Edward rivers over the weekend with a 68-70-86 and a 1.10mtr caught on bait. She said there were some nice yellas caught mainly in the Wakool on yabbies, shrimp and worms..

Until Next Week-Happy Fishing JC
