Lake Eildon:
59.80% down 0.53%
Eildon is still fishing well over the weekend with the yellas being predominantly caught trolling and amongst the trees on yabbies. Most anglers I have talked to this week targeted the brankeet and Delatite arms. We fished there Sunday and landed 60 odd Redfin amongst the trees. We targeted 10m of water and that’s where we found most the fish. The condition is a bit slim at the moment but we did notice the amount of baitfish congregating around the tops of the trees so they should put it on pretty quick. Basty fished for cod and landed 3 solid fish biggest being in the 80s! A few trout were caught on yella lures more than anything and the anglers that we’re targeting struggled on trout designed lures.

Lake Nillahcootie:
58.28% down 0.90%
Nillah is fishing well on all methods at the moment. Bank angling is producing great numbers of yellas as has trolling small codgers, stumpys and halco’s. Colours have again been broad but I guess if your in the zone it doesn’t matter what you put on. Soft vibing and baiting the trees has also been good during the day. A few by catch cod have been caught the last week so be sure to release them as soon as you can.

Lake Hume:
46.52% down 0.40%
Trout are still about as Toni and Bart cann landed 15 trout for the weekend! Which is awesome to see. The yellas are going well on the troll an as usual you can’t go past a McGrath wide body or ac invader. A few Better Redfin have also been picked up while targeting yellas as has fishing 10m+ and anchoring above some better sized schools and dropping blades and plastics down.

Had an angler pop in during the week and he had some good success at waranga last Sunday trolling up a few 33-38cm Redfin on halco poltergeist and a size 3 stumpy in redfin colour. He was targeting the 2.5-4m of water and said he caught the better ones in the shallower water.

Have hd a few fisho’s up at William hovell but only heard one trout on worms off the bank and a few small Redfin.
