Lake Eildon: 62.27%
Fishing: 7/10.
Eildon is slowly rising and the fishing is getting better and better. Trout anglers are still having success on the clown(#4), Phosphorus pearl(‪#‎PP‬), Pink panther(#55) and Abigail(#96) tassie devils. Flat lining and 2.5 colours of lead core being the best method. A few larger fish have been caught, mostly in the morning session. The Yellas are slowly starting to get caught. Bait anglers around shallow trees and grassy banks are landing the Yellas on worms and small yabbies. Keep in mind they will chase the warmer water now so always check your sounder. The Redfin are being caught more often with rmg poltergeists, 40mm ac invaders and Austackle sakanas being the better lures.

Broken River: steady
Fishing: 6/10.
The river has steadied and the water temp is increasing. Bait fishers using worms have caught some nice Yellas this week. Lure casters using small stumpys have caught a few smaller fish.

Lake Nillahcootie: 56.51%
Fishing: 5/10.
Nillah is still quiet cold and the Yellas haven't turned on as yet. Bait fishers using small yabbies and worms have caught some small Yellas in 1-2m of water(warmer water) trollers are putting in the hard yards for a minor result. Next month should see the Yellas pick up.

Lake Hume: 50.14%
Fishing: 8/10.
The fishing is getting better as time goes on. The big trout are still about, the Yellas are starting to school and the reddies are becoming more active. Trollers are having the best success at the moment with small profiles deep diving lures your best method. The trout are taking pink or silver tassies around bethanga bridge and the wall.

Lake Dartmouth: 67.74%
Fishing: 9/10.
Dart is the go if you want to catch some trout. Most anglers trolling are landing between 6-15 trout a day! Pink, orange or silver tassies are getting the job done. The browns have really come on as they are back in the lake after spawning. The fish aren't in the best condition but they are looking for a feed! The float and gudgeon fishing has been great the last couple of weeks. A must for any trout angler.

The local streams produced a few small trout on opening, not as many as anticipated.
