Lake Nillahcootie: 38.24%
Fishing: 6.5/10
Nillah has been a bit hit and miss this week. But most anglers are landing a few. Bait fishing off points and amongst the trees has seen a few better Yellas to 56cm on worm and shrimp. Trollers have been going ok on codgers, stumpys, predators and oar-gees. Best colours are still red/black, pink/purple and gold/black. 10-16ft has been the best depths.

Lake eildon: 42.71%
Fishing: 6/10.
Cod are still on the chew but not on as previously. The Yellas are still around and are being pulled up on halco poltergeists, codgers and 50mm ac invaders green and orange seem to be the go to colours. A few Redfin have been caught around big river and Jerusalem creek off the long treed points in 25-50ft. Worms, live shrimp and small yabbies all catching them. A few trout are getting caught early in the mornings on pink and white tassies. Mostly small and torpedo shaped but still good fun to catch.

Lake Dartmouth: 45.42%
Fishing: 8/10.
Still producing the good, still on the same methods as last report. Just keep in mind finding the thermocline as fish will hold in this area.

Broken river: low
Fishing: 5/10.
Bait fishers are still catching a few fish, cod on grubs and Yellas on worms and shrimp. Keep moving around to find the prime spot. Casters are still getting fish mostly on spinnerbaits. Surface fishing has been ok some days and dead others. Balista hunchback and mantis are the go to surface lures.

Lake mulwala: 94.96%
Fishing: 7/10.
A lot of small cod have been getting caught on bardis and spinnerbaits recently. A lot of fish between 30-60cm. In saying that there is some bigger units being landed in the shallows trolling spinnerbaits. I heard of a metery caught off the surface over the weekend too so maybe Persist with it. Trolling the main channels is the most Consistent method of catching fish. Oar-gees, stumpys and the new storm arashi's also don't be afraid to attach a Harros clip and catch!

I went down the Murray over last weekend and had a ball catching heaps of small trout cod and a few silver perch. Using light gear made the fight fun. Just used a worm on a size 4 baitholder and a size 3 sinker. Great way to get kids involved as there are heaps of trout cod around.

Cheers
Wade
