Report 30/11/17

Post by Nicole Penfold » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:47 pm

The word is the weather at the moment, what’s it going to do and how much are we going to get. The main thing is to be safe and keep looking at your weather services for the best insight.

Just a quick little report this week:

Nillah has really hit stride with the yellas going really well on bait off the bank and amongst the trees. Worms and shrimp the best baits.
Trolling has been getting better with small stumpys, codgers and halco’s going well in pink/purple and orange/green. It’s worth throwing lipless cranks around as the better fish have been getting caught on them.

Hume is showing some better fishing with the yellas becoming a more frequent catch. But it’s the Redfin that have given the anglers the most fun. Anglers have been using their side imaging to locate schools of fish and flicking blades and plastics and catching cricket scores of fish.

Eildon is going well on the Redfin and yellas with most anglers landing a few yellas on the troll and amongst the trees. Tilsans, ac invaders and halco’s getting the job done.

I hope you all stay safe over this opening period!
