A few boats have gone out today so we will see what happens . A charter went yesterday and found the tuna pretty easy But conditions where hard. The boys are catching slimy macks of the breakwater plus Couta, salmon and the odd snapper with thsee bigger swells. The bay is still fishing well for flathead and big size whiting when the weather is kind.

Sloppy conditions have been making it hard to fish but a couple of charters have been getting out and had no problem finding fish. This makes it even more frustrating for the regulars trying to get out, and are champing at the bit to have a crack.

The tuna comp will run tomorrow but SUNDAY has been CANCELLED due to strong winds.

Tomorrows weather is a north wind 9 to 11 knots with gusts around 17 knots. Southwest swell of 2.4 metres and we may see some sun breaking through. Sunday we are looking at a North wind of 14 to 19 knots but wind gusts up to 35 knots. Southwest swell only 2.1 metres and overcast conditions. Please guys check the up to date reports before fishing.

Good luck to all that have entered the comp and we hope to see some good fish!

Nigel
