Hot spot this week, salmon are on at Tura Beach and Snapper on the reefs on micro jigs and plastics.

Beaches and headlands are still producing Salmon, and Drummer. Frozen worms, Blue bait & pilchards, Local frozen bait is great bait for beach fishing and available at Tackleworld.

GAME FISHING: Pretty quiet this week.

TURA BEACH: Producing, good numbers of Salmon and tailor.

MAIN BEACH: Yellow Fin Bream, Tailor and Salmon with a few whiting.

BEGA RIVER: Good catches of Flatehead near the bridge of Tathra estuary perch in the upper reaches.

PAMBULA RIVER/LAKE: Good sized trevally and schools of Tailor near the mouth, few nice flathead still being caught this week in Broadwater, Salmon on plastics, few nice Blackfish from time to time.

MERIMBULA LAKE: Bream on vibes and bait, lots of trevally and tailor with a few flathead

Try using the Tackleworld IFish and Fuze range of soft plastics and especially on Tailor and Flathead.

MERIMBULA WHARF: A few Salmon being caught on Strada Divers and also some squid on Yamashita 3.0g jigs, Kingfish have been in and out, so be ready for them, with some big poppers and stickbaits lures.

TATHRA WHARF: Few catches of Salmon, Tailor and squid

REEFS: Few nice flathead on the sand flats, and snapper on the reefs….Try using micro jigs for the snapper and plastics. Kingfish off Long Point.

LOCAL HEADLANDS: Check conditions before fishing, producing good size Drummer plenty of Squid try using 3.0gram in bright orange and pink……..Few Kingfish also try using Stickbaits.

MALLACOOTA: Bream pushing down Wallagarauh try using vibes and Z–man plastics.
Nice size Flathead along rock walls at Gipsy Point.
