Yellow Fin up to 63 kg taken last weekend, with some nice sized sharks as well.

TURA BEACH, Producing some nice salmon and Tailor at the north end. Pilchards and metals work well

MAIN BEACH has the Bream, Salmon & Tailor in the gutters with frozen worms, Red Devil worms Pippies and Nippers getting the best results.

BEGA RIVER producing some Flat Head, good numbers of Bream especially near the bridge system. Don’t be afraid to toss a few big plastics about for the Jew fish as there are reports of them being around. Try White Lightning 140 Pro range or silver fox fish 100

PAMBULA RIVER/LAKE some flatties caught this week on soft plastics silver fox & Black and gold plastics always reliable, try nippers or surface lures also. If you want to get onto the flathead Pambula is your best bet

MERIMBULA LAKE has Trevally, Bream and Flathead. Spencer park and down by the bridge have some large numbers of Trevally Try 80mm Pro range Wriggler in Ghost colour Peeled prawn also working well. Don’t forget to try some red devil worms for the Bream

MERIMBULA WHARF Squid still about early mornings and late afternoons.. Luderick come through regularly and some Salmon and Tailor as well.

LOCAL REEFS have Snapper and Morwong on bait and micro jigs being caught. Some nice sizes have been reported. Some 55cm Flatties can be found on the sand. Long Point and Horseshoe reef worth a shot. Flathead of Tura Beach in about 35-40m

TATHRA WHARF Salmon and Tailor still around. Arma metals are still a popular choice for here Slimy’s are still around so try them for your live bait
