MERIMBULA WHARF producing nice size Squid, some Blackfish, Salmon & Tailor

GAME FISHING has been a bit quiet this week, not much to report.

TURA BEACH has been OK with a few Salmon and Tailor taking both lures and bait.

MAIN BEACH still getting some nice Salmon and a few bream, try some beach worms or red devil worms for best results.

HAYCOCK is producing the best catches with good numbers of Salmon. Using pilchards has been most popular

HEADLANDS are still producing some nice size Drummer on Tura Head, Short Point and Haycock, with the odd Tailor and Salmon coming in as well.

THE REEFS have been producing a few Snapper, Nannygai and Morwong. Flathead are very patchy; Try the 38 metre mark of Tura Beach

BEGA RIVER has a few bream in the upper reaches. Try some shallow divers in the shallows will work best. Still good numbers of Flathead up towards the bridge in the deeper holes; try some silver fox or black and gold fish on squidgy plastics. Some nice Perch and Bass coming in as well, go for the deeper holes on the rock walls.

MERIMBULA LAKE still has some nice Trevally around the main bridge; try some small plastics for them. There’s still some nice Flathead being caught on plastics and vibes. Their have been great catches of Tailor also. Go for the deep diving hard bodies for them.

PAMBULA LAKE. Some nice Salmon down near the mouth with a few good size Flathead coming out from Broadwater. The Tailor is also dominant here on metals and again the deep diving hardbody.

WONBOYN LAKE producing a few nice flathead and Tailor, some Bream in the upper reaches.
Happy fishing from the Tackleworld staff………
