For those in the Bega valley shire who did not receive a Christmas catalogue or even our out of town readers please call us on 64951681 if you would like one mailed out to you.

MERIMBULA WHARF: Still has some good sized squid. Give the EGI Jigs a go or check our catalogue for specials on IKA Squid Jigs. Have your rods ready incase the Kingies decide to show
TURA BEACH : Still producing a few salmon and tailor. Pilchards and Jackson Gallop Assist lures are the best choice.
MAIN BEACH : Producing a few whiting and salmon. Live glow worms are best for the whiting and try pilchards for the salmon. Look out for the deep gutters
HAYCOCK BEACH: Still has Salmon in good numbers . Keep your eyes out for the dark patches and use pilchards or Arma metal lures.
HEADLANDS again have the Salmon, tailor, drummer, and a few Kingies.
REEFS: A few good sized gummies were caught on the Reefs this week. Reefs are still Producing good numbers of Snapper, Morwong and Flathead. Try bottom fishing off North Tura for a feed of flathead. Also give the mocro jigs a go on the Snapper and Morwong
BEGA RIVER : Still producing the odd Jewie this week. Soft Plastics the go with Squidgy Pro Range Prawn being the pick. Good bream in the upper reaches, with some nice flatties getting caught closer to the bridge this week. Squidgy Prawns doing the damage on these as well. Give the Squidgy Wrigglers 140mm a goon the Jewies and big Flat Head. The Jackson Epic Panic Prawn lures are also a hit with the Bream and Flathead.
MERIMBULA LAKE :Some good trevally around the main bridge; try some smaller plastics or small metals. Flathead are being caught on plastics and vibes, with good numbers of tailor taking metals, diving lures, and surface lures over the shallows. A good number of whiting have been caught this week up over the sand flats, and closer to the mouth . EBI Panic Prawn, Sugarpen surface lures, and glow worms doing the damage.
PAMBULA LAKE Producing some good sized flathead. Plenty of tailor to chase with metals and diving lures. Pick of the plastics to target the big flathead is zman motoroil zman curly tail streakz . We once again recommend the Jackson Epic Panic Prawn for Flathead and Bream.
EDEN WHARF: Kingies made a show here this week and the wharf is still producing some nice sized squid with the orange, blue and natural colours doing most of the damage.

Happy Fishing!

Many thanks,
Ron & Gael
