A quick afternoon fish after work as the sun goes down over the Shoalhaven River reveals plenty of surface action in the way of prawns and baitfish being chased and mullet jumping everywhere! Im thinking there are some bigger fish around than these small flatties we caught, still when you have sunsets like this on your back door step it's the old cliche of a fish is a bonus realy.

I'm finding it pretty hard to go past the Squidgy prawns at the moment especially in the black and gold wriggler tail fished on a 1/4 oz 2/0 TT Headlock jig head...The river is pretty clear up around the Ski Park and the water is slowly warming up...should be a good summer if we get no more big dumps of rain!
