We've had over 100mm of rain, which means we're looking at a good fortnight to three weeks for it to start cleaning up down the front end. The bass fishing is obviously very quiet, as there's too much flow in the upper reaches.
The seas have been big and they're just starting to settle down a bit, although not enough to make this weekend an attractive option. The middle of next week looks OK, and should see some boats heading out to chase snapper.
Aside from all that, there's salmon and a few tailor on the beaches, but that's about it. Hopefully there will be better news in the next report.
