The river has been fishing well after the rain. There are plenty of bass and EPs in the upper saltwater sections upstream from Nowra Bridge right up to Long Reach.
There are good flathead and bream down around the river mouth, and plenty of them. They've been taking lures and strip baits like slimy mackerel and striped tuna.
Anglers with secret spots in the river have been catching a few jew on soft plastic vibes.
Offshore, the kingfish have come on just in the last week or so. There are some in Jervis Bay and Currarong, and the spearos are getting some as well.
There are a few snapper in close, and plenty of squid in Jervis Bay.
Haven't heard much from St Georges Basin aside from a few snapper and big tailor.
