Report 27/5/17

Its been another great week of fishing. The river is continuing to produce good bream, plenty of jew and now another run of nice flattys is throughout the river. The jew are making their way upstream now and the Nowra Bridge pylons and showground rocks are definitely worth a look.

Offshore yesterday there were rumors of the first Bluefin Tuna caught for the season somewhere down south with some nice fish among them...no doubt there will be a few crews out there now in search of more of these elusive fast migrating critters.

Deep dropping the shelf for ooglies is fast growing in popularity and with the current conditions its perfect to get out and give it a go. Plenty of ocean perch, ling, gemfish and those big blue eye and bass groper are all about in good size and numbers.

The beaches are producing some mega tailor which have no doubt come from St Georges Basin, a few nice sambos and stacks of sharks for the nocturnal fisherman.
