Offshore
Very little fishing being done offshore this week due to the strong winds that have been present all week. Gummy sharks still hanging around the reefs and flathead still at Talaberga for the few venturing out.

Beach
Plenty of salmon along the surf gutters. Spinning metal lures the best method for targeting these fish. High tide on dusk taking the better size and numbers. Tailor hanging out at the break wall. Anglers spinning metal lures or small stick baits taking plenty of fish right throughout the day. The key is to put in plenty of casts and wait for the schools to swim past. Bream at Bastion Point along with a few whiting. Small bass yabbies fished behind the shore break taking the best fish.

Lake
Many flathead caught this week with the Reel It In flathead challenge taking place. The fish were all throughout the lake but were more concentrated over at Marshmeed, The Narrows and Cape Horn. 100-120mm fish style soft plastics worked the best. Prawn style lures also took a lot of fish. Tailor in good numbers at Cape Horn and at the Narrows. Trolling metal lures taking the most fish. Casting small stick baits along edges also taking a few fish.

Bream have also really turned on this week with heaps of fish taken in both lakes. Lots of fish along the edges of the top lake and Double creek. Rolling small hardbodies or hoping soft plastics along drop offs taking the best fish.
