OFFSHORE
Plenty of boats headed out into the deep blue over the Easter weekend. Anglers have still been on the kingfish with plenty of school fish being taken mainly by trolling deep diving hard bodies like X-raps and small to medium sized knife jigs. Anglers have also been doing fairly well bottom bouncing with some nice sized blue spot and tiger flathead coming in. There have also been some good snook and the odd KG whiting getting around the shallow reefs. There have also been some sizeable school sharks being taken down the coast as well as a few average sized gummies. Most have been taken drift fishing with larger baits. Not much pelagic shark action reported though.

BEACH & ROCKS
Salmon have well and truly moved in for the colder months with plenty of fish being caught off most the beaches and rock platforms on most baits and lures, larger fish have been taken on surface poppers and metal slice lures. Some good sized tailor have also been taken in amongst the salmon surprising lucky anglers. Some sand and KG whiting have also been taken up around the entrance as well as some nice yellowfin bream on beach worms and bass yabbies.

INSHORE
Bream and flatties have been steadily coming along with some decent fish taken along rock walls on Cranka Crabs and weightless Squidgy Wriggler Prawns. Bait fisherman have also been consistently catching some nice bream and flathead around Goodwin Sands. A few tailor have been taken in the Narrows by trolling small hard bodies behind slow moving boats. Some nice trevally and luderick being taken around the jetties on small vibes, bass yabbies and sand worm.
