Port Phillip Bay
Aaron Habgood was fishing out off Barwon heads on Sunday for gummy sharks and was really guessing when one rod screamed off on a tough fish until this 15kg king popped to the surface with a few mates following. While this guy was being landed the boys dropped in some jigs and got another pair of 13kg kings. It's fair to say Victoria is now loaded with these guys.

Western Port
Customer Rich took the day off work to fish Westernport earlier this week in some great conditions. Fishing the Symonds Channel Rich caught this awesome gummy shark in 14 metres of water. The fish took a fresh salmon cutlet.

Young anglers Jedd and Wyatt fished out of Westernport on the weekend in search of some whiting. The boys were not disappointed catching some lovely fish over 40cm. Pippies and squid proved to be the stand out baits.

We recieved the following report from Keysborough Angling Club who fished as a group from Westernport on Sunday:
"Weather conditions were great early morning for a trip to Western Port Bay. 10 members fished and launched their boats from Hastings, Stony Point and also Warneet. This was a WHITING ONLY comp - 81 fished were weighed in for a total weight of just under 27Kg. Heaviest fish for the day (590 grams) was caught by Dave Jacobsen, with other good catches ranging from 450 grams to 350 grams. Dave Jacobsen also bagged out on this comp with 20 whiting for a weight of 7.51Kg; Mark Watson bagged 17 fish for 4.99Kg and Glenn Hansen bagged 9 fish for 2.85Kg"

Ray Varcoe and his mate Lionel creasman have still been clobbering the whiting in the port with the boys finding bag limit catches on every trip. Last weekend was no exception with the boys seeing a bag of cracker fish once again in the boat.
