The fishing has been really good lately. Offshore there have been a few makos kicking around but probably the stand-out is arrow barracuda with plenty of juvenile thresher sharks. There have also been some reports of school bluefin, large salmon schools as well as some kingfish kicking around offshore and in the Rip.

Inside the bay we've had excellent whiting and squid. A few gummies are floating around on the chnnels, and snapper have now turned up deep off Mount Martha on the edges of the shipping lane.

Inshore landbased there have been plenty of tommy rough, garfish, and flathead caught.
