Weekly Report 26 Nov 13

Post by Brad » Tue Nov 26, 2013 12:37 pm

A windy week ahead but some opportunities to get amongst the mackerel and other pelagics that are out there in the coming days we hope. There are plenty being caught once you are able to get offshore so stay patient. The Pumicestone Passage is slow but fishermen have still managed some flathead and small mackerel which are cruising through the herring schools in the wee hours of the morning. Trevally are still in the deeper channels and areas like Pelican Waters bridge and further around the canal areas along with some queenies. Mangrove jack in Currimundi Lake along with a few whiting but for my money I would be heading to Kawana Canal areas as there seems to be an abundance of jack around. We will hold for another few days and head out to see if we can't get a few pelagics and reefies for the dinner plate. We will let you know how it goes. Have Fun!
