April 3
There have been plenty of Tuna busting up all over the place with many caught and many missed. Small slugs are working the best for these guys and the rare one is taking a floating or trolled bait. The Mackerel are still hard to get with most hitting light leaders and no wire. The bottom fishing has been good around the Caloundra Marks and to travel to the ends of the earth is not a necessity. Around the Pt Cartwright headland and The Gneerings there have been plenty of school mackerel, tuna, squire and sweetlip.

The Mooloolah River has fired up over the weekend with some golden trevally, squid, bream and whiting reported and off the river mouth some school mackerel. The rocks around the front have produced some trevally and bream while the beach seems to be over run with dart until nightfall where plenty of shovel nose are out with the odd schooling Jew and flathead.

Attached are 2 photos of Bryan, who has been getting Spanish mackerel and sweetlip off Currimundi.
