Morning report: With the current fresh water run-off and the rough seas mostly behind us this is ideal snapper fishing weather. Cloud cover works in favour of the angler as the Snapper tend to be more active off the bottom. Large baits will land the bigger fish but there is more than enough action from various other species as well to keep you occupied. The rivers and along the beaches have massively improved over the last month for Bream. They are regularly caught around the 30-35cm mark. Whiting and flathead have been in good numbers too with plenty of flathead caught along the Kawana Beach stretch, The Basin and the Maroochy River.
Afternoon report: The rivers are still holding the fight for us with plenty of small flathead and the odd over 50cm landed. There are plenty of menacing whiting around the basin and the Cod Hole on the Maroochy River. We are still seeing a great variety of fish at Labalsa Park and the Mooloolah River with plenty of Bream, Whiting, and flathead. There are some notable catches of Golden trevally still with little Big eye and Giant Trevally plentiful around the trawlers. There have been a few reports of Luderick (Blackfish) around the rock wall at Pt Cartwright so if you can get the cabbage weed you might be in with a chance.

Morning report: The river fishing over the next week is expected to be going from strength to strength as after all the rain we have had. When our waterways are flushed out the fishing usually gets a lot better, The Bream have been feeding ravenously pretty much where ever you go and i have seen some great Flathead caught over the last week(small ganged pillies are the go) also along with some solid Tarwhine, I truly believe the estuary fishing will be great this weekend and fully intend to get out and wet a line.
Afternoon report: There are reports of fishers reaching their bag limits on the in shore reefs and all along the coast and some nice jewies to be had as well.
