It's a great time to fish the rivers on the run out tide. Looking for structure and slight drop offs combined with a bit of persistance and im sure you wont have any trouble hooking up. With the swell decreasing throughout the week as well im sure there will be fish for all to catch -- beach, rivers and offshore.

There has been plentty of fishing done so far over the last week at least and the photo's I've seen while away have been fantastic. Thanks for sharing your catches.
The weather looks set to change from a fantastic day today with swell set to pick up to 1.5m and wind reaching 20 knots. The rivers and estuaries have produced some stonking Bream while the beaches are producing plenty of Bream, Dart and Flathead. The next few days will be perfect conditions for a night fish chasing the elusive Jew. So gear up with some big baits and hard gear to target this beautiful species. The fish in the following photos were caught in the close reefs off Mooloolaba, thanks to Michael and Damien for sharing.

The coastline has been swamped by bream. Prawns and small pilly's are the choice of the baits with mullet gut a perfect solution to catch them as well (just a bit messy). Stick to the tidal changes and you will be in with a great chance to land one over 35cm.
