August 10
Morning report: The fishing around the place has been great with plenty of quality Bream Fathead and Tailor being around our rivers and beaches and off shore has been producing so truly amazing snapper with a report from a friend who had to drive away from a school of them outside the Barwon Banks yesterday Because there were to many fish over the 70cm mark and as your only legally allowed to keep one fish over 70cm they had to move to go find some smaller fish lol what a problem to have hey? there have also been reports of a few really nice jew being taken on big live baits around our river mouths and inshore reefs with one report i heard of a guy putting a livie down through a school of tailor he had found and catching two metre plus Jew in quick succession, goes to show a slow days fishing can turn around in an instant. This photo is of Chlo cracking in a quality Bream on dads 14" Daiwa Saltiga with a 14000 Ultegra Ci4 at Buddina beach the other day.

Afternoon report: there are a still a few quality Snapper getting around out on Murphy's Reef and there have been a couple of reports of Squid around the rocks at Point Cartwright. the tailor have been a little quiet today although ganged pillies will get them if you persist, the Northerly did end up getting up a bit this afternoon but will probably drop off after dark. Here is a pic of a massive Snapper that Eric caught off Mooloolaba yesterday at a spot of his where he says there were too many big ones. what a problem to have! he threw back 4 other 70cm+ models.

Afternoon report: there have been a couple of really nice Snapper reported caught out on Murphy's and some nice bream being caught along Labalsa park and the boat ramp pontoon.
