The warm weather is here and there have been some very good catches of bass to 52cm in the creeks and the Clarence tributaries.
In the estuaries the lizards have been really good and some nice trevally to 2kg have also been terrorising the baitfish. Staff member Mark Hoare has had some fun on trevors to 1.8kg in the local creeks on bream tackle.
Offshore, good snapper still about in close on half-pillies, strip baits or soft plastics. No reports from out wide but the warm water is coming on nicely and it won’t be long until things fire up.
On the beaches there have been whiting but not much in the way of big jewies but still some schoolies and salmon about, with the salmon on metals and baits at the rocky ends of the beaches..
