Lakes Entrance
The Surf beaches for Salmon taking lures and pilchard. The Footbridge and town jetties for Trevally and Mullet. Whiting are at the Barrier Landing and Nungurner, taking worm and pippies. Offshore for Snapper up to 5kg and Gummies closer to the beach, best results using squid and pilchard.

Lake Tyers
Flathead from 20cm to 85cm are everywhere in the system, taking lures and bait. Surf beaches for Salmon and Yellow Eyed Mullet taking pippies.

Mitchell River
The Barrier, The Bluff and towards Two Bells for Bream, bait of choice spider crab and prawn. Some Perch at the old Butter Factory, taking plastics.

Tambo River
Bream are cruising from Punthouse Point, Marshall Flats and the Rough Road to Bennetts Brook. Bait to use is squid and worm.

Bream and Flathead between the two Bridges and up to The Cliffs . The best bait being worm, prawn and live shrimp.

From Lake King Jetty to Shaving Point also Bell Point and Bancroft Bay for Whiting and Flathead on prawn and worm. Nungurner Jetty for Whiting taking worm.

Tailor are cruising in Eagle Point Bay, taking lures. Ocean Grange for Gummies on the next new moon, best bait fish fillets, pilchard and squid.

Holland’s Landing
From Secombe Landing and right through to Bull Bay for Bream and Mullet. Cameron Point up to Storm Point for Tailor. Best baits being worm, soft shell clam and spider crab.

Luderick around rock groynes, Estuary Perch are around snags and structures. Bream and Yellow Eyed Mullet are throughout the system. The surf for Gummies, Salmon and Tailor, best baits are worm, prawn, and squid legs. Offshore for Flathead, Gummies and Pinkies on squid and pilchard.

Bemm River
Best spots for Bream are around the river mouth and in the main lake, if small fish are being caught move on into the lake. Bait to use is prawn, worm and plastics, The surf for Salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Tamboon Inlet
Bream are a plenty, with bag limits being reached. Best baits being prawn and worm. The Football Ground for the odd Flathead. The surf for Salmon on pilchard and poppers.

The surf for Salmon taking spinners, pilchard and poppers. Yellow Fin Whiting, Yellow Fin Bream taking yabbies. Bream are up in the Top Lake as well as the Genoa River and the Wallagaraugh River, Try yabbies and lures. Flathead and Perch taking lures.

Omeo High Country
Best spot for Trout is the Livingstone and the Mitta Mitta Rivers, best results using lures also try worm and flies.
