There are quite a lot of snapper getting around in close. They're really taking to lightly weighted plastics and pilchards. Anglers are getting spotties mixed in with the snapper as well. There are also quite a lot of pearl perch in close, being caught anywhere from 15m out.

Out wider, the current has been quite slow so people have been doing a bit of deep dropping, catching blue-eye trevalla in around 400m.

Off the rocks there are still heaps of tailor around, along with smaller GTs and silver trevally, all taking 20-40g metals. There are quite a few jew starting to get caught off the rocks too, around the river mouths and the headlands.

At the river mouths themselves along the rock walls there have been quite a few nice jew caught. A lot of good size bream are being caught as well by anglers fishing unweighted plastics along the front walls.

There are quite good numbers of flathead, not right at the mouth but towards the front of the system.

Anglers are picking up quite a few tailor in the estuaries, and plenty of dart are being caught off the beach.
