Lakes Entrance
Trevally can be found around the footbridge and town jetties taking blue bait. Surf beaches for Salmon. Offshore at Six Mile Reef for Leather Jacket, Morwong and Pinkies.

Lake Tyers
The Devil’s Hole area is still best for Bream and the “odd” Flathead. For best results use floating prawn. Surf beach for Salmon.

Mitchell River
The backwaters and down towards Shadoof Lodge still have Bream and Mullet, using worm, prawn and spider crab. Also give The Cut and the Two Bells a go.

Tambo River
From Punthouse Point and down to the mouth of the river are the best spots for Bream. Best bait is floating prawn and worm.

Nicholson
Between the two bridges and down to the mouth of the river are the best spots for Bream and Mullet using worm and floating prawn.

Metung
Around Bancroft Bay from a boat for Bream, Trevally and Mullet on worm, crab and prawn. Also try Chinaman’s Creek and the boardwalk and town jetties.

Paynesville
The Strait is best the spot for Tailor and Mullet using soft plastics, lures and worm.

Holland’s Landing
Best spots for Bream, Mullet with the “odd” Flathead is at Blonde Bay. The town jetties at Loch Sport are worth a look as well.

Marlo
The Brodbribb River is best for Bream and Estuary Perch. Try around structures with floating baits, prawn and worm. Give the island and Lake Corringle a try. Surf for Salmon and Tailor.

Bemm River
The Entrance is still open. The Lake has Bream. Best bait being worm. Luderick are up and about in the river taking worm as preferred bait.

Tamboon Inlet
From Fisherman’s Landing and up to Furnell Landing is still producing Bream taking floating prawn and worm. Surf beach for Salmon on pilchard and popper.

Mallacoota
Wallagaraugh River and Genoa River have Bream and Flathead. The Top Lake also has Bream and Flathead, best baits being yabbies, prawn, lures and soft plastics. All surf beaches have Salmon taking pilchard and popper.

Omeo High Country
Closed season.
