Lakes Entrance
King george and silver whiting are about the Floating Dragon jetty, best results using worm. The surf beaches for salmon. Off shore at Six Mile Reef for pinkies and morwong. Fishing closer to the surf beach will produce gummies taking pilchard and squid.

Lake Tyers
Cherry Tree and Burnt Bridge for bream with best results using worm and shrimp. From Devils Hole and to the upper reaches of the Nowa Nowa Arm for flathead on soft plastics.

Mitchell River
Best spots for bream are from the bluff to the cut using worm, prawn and soft plastics. Picnic Point for trout with earth worm for best results.

Tambo River
Bream are around Rough Road and up to the Cliffs taking worm and prawn. The Cliffs also for flathead and tailor trolling with lures for best results.

Nicholson
Between the two bridges and towards the Straight Six for bream, mullet and the odd flathead. Best bait worm, prawn, shrimp and lures.

Metung
Try the boardwalk and heading towards Chinaman’s Creek. Boxes Creek is also worth a look. For bream and mullet try the shallow waters at night on spider crab and worm.

Paynesville
The Strait, boat ramps and jetties are the best spots for bream and mullet with prawn, worm and shrimp for best results.

Holland’s Landing
Surf beaches for salmon and gummies on pilchards and squid. The Strait, Tom’s Creek and Blonde Bay are the best spots to try for bream and mullet on shrimp, worm, prawn and blood worm.

Marlo
The two rivers are the best spots to try for bream and perch on worm. Surf beaches for salmon on pilchards and poppers. Off shore for a mixed bag.

Bemm River
The lakes and river are still producing bream. Best results using surface lures, soft plastics, pilchards and poppers.

Tamboon Inlet
Bream are at the river mouth and up to Furnell Landing. Best bait being worm. Peters Rock and Old Man Point for pinkies and trevally using pilchard. The surf for salmon.

Mallacoota
The Wallagaraugh and Genoa Rivers have bream, tailor, flathead and perch. Best baits prawn, yabbies and hard bodied lures. The surf beaches for salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Omeo High Country
River levels are low but the Gibbo and morass are best to try for trout with earth worm and soft plastics as preferred bait.
