Lakes Entrance
Trevally are about the footbridge taking soft plastics. Yellow fin bream is taking crab style hard bodied lures. Whiting are still about the Barrier and the islands. The surf for salmon, off shore at six and eight mile reef for pinkies.

Lake Tyers
Bream are about Mill Point, Blackfellows Arm and the islands. Flathead are taking blue bait as preferred bait. At the back of Nowa Nowa for good bream with floating live prawn for best results.

Mitchell River
From Shadoof Lodge, Grassy Banks, the Cut and down to the river for bream. Best bait being spider crab, local prawn and lures.

Tambo River
From the highway bridge and rough road heading towards Clues Bluff for bream. Best results on soft shell, live prawn and worm.

Nicholson
The two bridges and towards the boat ramp for bream taking prawn and soft plastics. There is some juvenile bream about.

Metung
Best spot for whiting is at the Nungurner Jetty area with pippies as preferred bait. Skip jack have arrived and are taking hard body lures for best results.

Paynesville
Tailor are in the strait and heading towards Duck Arm, best result using lures.

Holland’s Landing
Tailor are cruising around the town jetties and structures. Bream are about taking all baits presented to them. Try the Strait as well.

Marlo
The entrance is still open. The system is producing some bream but you need to work for them. The surf for salmon on pilchards and poppers. Off shore for a mixed bag.

Bemm River
The entrance is closed. Try in the channel trolling with lures for tailor. The lake is the best spot for bream taking worm. The surf for salmon using blue poppers and pilchard.

Tamboon Inlet
Bream are still at the river mouth on prawn and worm. Old man point and the camp site for pinkies taking lures. The surf for salmon on pilchards and poppers.

Mallacoota
Tailor are at the entrance on the incoming tide taking lures. Luderick at Harrisons Channel on weed. Bream and flathead are in the bottom lake. Trevally at Fisheries Wharf on pilchards.

Omeo High Country
Trout are still to be had in the Mitta Matta River on soft plastics, metal lures and spinners.
