After all the hype from the past couple of weeks on the Wharf with the Kingies it looks like they have taken off to parts unknown for the time being. Still some nice Luderick to be taken, squid as well.
GAME FISHING Bluefin Tuna, have been out on the 38 to 40 line with fish over 70 to 100 plus kilo.
TURA BEACH, has good numbers of Salmon coming through in consistent numbers. Metals are still working well.. Arma lures always a favourite. Either Chisel or Radico, are worth a go.
If your heading off the rocks, Drummer are still on the bite on Conjevoi and Prawns, Salmon and Tailor still being caught on lures, try some Halco flashers.
THE REEFS have been producing a few Snapper and Morwong . Still a few Flathead on the 40 metre mark of Tura
BEGA RIVER have good catches in the upper reaches, keep searching around and you will get into them Blades worked deep are well worth a shot . Try the Jackall Pink eye Sugi also. Flathead still worth targeting. Some nice fish starting to be caught, up to 86cms.
MERIMBULA LAKE still has some nice Flathead being caught on squidgy plastics. Try Flicking some blades around in the deeper water should show good results. Plenty of Tailor, try trolling some deep divers later in the afternoon for best results.
PAMBULA LAKE have Flathead, Bream and Tailor all on the bite this week, try some blades in about 4metre water. The odd salmon is being caught on small plastics fish from Shark Hole down to the mouth, try for the bream up from the boat ramp with some nippers or deep diving hard body’s.
MAIN BEACH producing some nice bream on worms or nippers, good size salmon taking pilchards or metals.
WONBOYN LAKE producing a few nice flathead and Tailor up to 70cms.
